Well, I suppose this is me:
Mother of two: That pretty much says it, I am lucky enough to have 2 of the most amazing little
boys in the world! My oldest will turn 6 next month, and my baby just turned 1!
Happy little wife: My husband and I just celebrated our 7th anniversary, and every year it just
gets better and better!
Stronger than I knew: My oldest son was born prematurely at 23 weeks and 6 days gestation, was 1 lb 9 oz and 12 inches long and spent over 130 days in the NICU before he came home. I have grown so much since that day, have become closer to my husband; closer to my Father in Heaven; and have a unique perspective now on just how precious life is, how to enjoy every little moment we have together, how quickly it can change and how thankful I am for the knowledge I have that if anything were to happen we would still be a family forever. I am so thankful for everyday I have with this amazing little boy, and have become such a better person because of him. My new little guy was also born early at 31 weeks 1 day, but thankfully was a very smooth sailing NICU stay of only 6 weeks.
California Girl: I love California, and still consider it my homeland (even though I haven't lived there permanently in over 10 years). The sound and smell of the ocean immediately calm my soul, make me smile and think happy thoughts. I love ocean animals, which is also something that my oldest son has also developed a love for much to my delight.

Loved your epithets : )
ReplyDeleteYou're boys are absolutely adorable and I loved catching a little glimpse into your life. You are an extremely strong woman and I hope to learn from this semester!
That is really interesting about your son. I bet that was really scary! I had an older brother born prematurely as well and my mom said it was hard and scary because he was so small.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are both so cute. It's great that you have been married for 7 years, and are still so happy with each other. I'm coming up on my 1 year mark of being married and it is amazing. You and your family are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour little family is so beautiful! I bet those little boys keep you busy but they are so handsome and I bet you have a blast. I can relate to loving the beach and how it immediately calms you. It is nice to see that you guys are so happy :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, your family is absolutely adorable! My goodness! Also, I was really impressed by how you've looked at your trials as blessings and ways of being strengthened. I had a niece and nephew born very prematurely like that, and have seen how scary that can be. I'm so happy to see how well your boys are both doing! :)
ReplyDeleteAs a father of two, I wholeheartedly agree that children make us better people, sometimes in ways we'd never imagine.
